THE PROCESS
DESIGN
When making my jewellery designs, I am often inspired by the beauty of the materials. As my personal style is changing from the bright and loud colours of my youth, my current style leans towards a classic, timeless, everyday-wearable design for the capsule wardrobe.
With my yarn pieces, my hope is that they add a touch of cosiness and colour to your everyday look. Seeing the colour trends change through the seasons helps me develop my creative style.

MATERIALS
Most of my jewellery collection will feature gold-filled or sterling silver findings. I have a small collection of waterproof, tarnish-free, 18K gold-plated stainless steel pieces for those who still want to express themselves whilst being financially conscious.

My yarn goods is made with either merino wool or premium acrylic. Both incredibly soft to touch and wear.

My wire art homeware range is made with sturdy aluminium wire and cotton or acrylic yarns. I am currently still developing my homeware category, so you may or may not have seen it live on my website yet.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
I am self taught in jewellery making and discovered that I really enjoyed working with my hands. I learnt how to knit from school during a competition and for years I would only know how to make squares and scarves (I'm sure some of you out there can relate to this!). When I wanted to learn how to make hats, my good friend Kent taught me how to crochet many years ago. We exchanged our talents: he would teach me how to crochet and in return I taught him how to read music. I would like to think that he's still able to identify the keys on the piano.
